Lovely wooden floor lamp (no bulb or shade)

I bought this for £80 second hand and thought I would get round to getting somebody who knew electrics to make sure it was sound and shorten the wire at the top (see photo). If you have more time than me to get that sorted this would be an absolutely beautiful lamp. I am moving house and unfortunately have to face facts that I am not going to be able to fix it. This is for a double handled FAT LAVA floor lamp in used condition. Wonderful statement lamp in rich tones of orange. The lamp measures 14” across and 21” high (not including the lampshade) Made in West Germany is etched on the base. Double bulb lamp, one at the top and one in the base. The lamp will need new wiring. ONE OF THE HANDLES IS FRAGILE WHERE IT JOINS THE BASE, IT HAS NOT COME APART BUT NEEDS TO BE TREATED WITH CARE. THERE ARE A COUPLE OF CHIPS 1 ON THE TIP OF A HANDLE AND 1 ON THE BASE RIM AS SHOW IN THE PICTURES. THIS LAMP IS ROUGHLY 45 YEARS OLD AND THEREFORE HAS SIGNS OF USE.
