Vintage Edwardian painted washstand with marble and tiled

Edwardian wash stand on original wheels. Marble top in good condition for age (see photos). This has been painted (not by me) in a soft blue/green chalk paint that matches the tiled back beautifully. A lovely solid unit, a real statement piece that could be used almost anywhere in the house. Large cupboard underneath for storage. Large Victorian Very Rare Fluted Metal Travel Chest Trunk Vintage Storage Chest Toy Box

Storage Chest Blanket Toy Box Very large and striking looking rare steel trunk with unusual corrugated construction. I have never seen this design before. This is a very rare all steel trunk from the mid Victorian period and is in fantastic condition considering it’s age. Has a few knocks and scrapes but this all ads to the great patina. I cant find the makers name but on the front the trunk has a Patent number on a brass plaque. I have been told that the trunk could have originated in America and on searching on the internet found a similar trunk for sale but a bit smaller and at a cost of $. This trunk has been scrubbed clean and given a wax polish to the protect patina gained over the years. The inside is as original and has not been touched because it has newspaper from stuck to the bottom and I thought this was interesting, this can be easily removed. Now ready to store your vast array of objet d'art. A beautiful and functional piece of furniture with great character. Victorian Edwardian Letter Box with Glass Inkwells Authentic Antique Furniture.

Here is a stunning period letter box in amazing condition. It features a lift up lid for the letters, two glass Inkwells (one has a tiny hole in its base that is hidden from view). Each square glass inkwell has on its lid, made in England, the letters S and O then a crown motif and the numbers . This signifies British Government Stationery HMSO. The oak box is in brilliant condition. It features a slot when notices can be placed. There is also a brass name plate that incredibly is unused so could be used for your own family name. I am also including an authentic fountain pen from the same era together with a tiny brass propelling pencil. This set would look stunning in a hallway in a period house - just as it is in ours but we plan to move to a modern house hence the sale. Collect from Sunderland close to the city centre. Large vintage victorian / edwardian fire surround with mirror, cast iron insert & tiles

Large antique fire surround. In very good condition for it's age, with delicate inlay in the wood. A beautiful thing! Has bevelled mirror, hand-painted tile panels & cast iron insert/hood which is clad in thin brass sheet (it's so old that some of the brass is worn through from polishing!). Also has some marble infill strips & the original fender (again, the brass skin is worn through in places). Originally it came from a house in Jesmond and I've never refitted it.
