A beautiful pair of Antique handmade 'true Vintage' Italian shoes. Exceptional quality/ unique and in exquisite condition. The shoe is made of black suede leather with intricate floral mosaic tile design on heel including detail of a small black suede bow on base of heel with a delicate ceramic pink rose bud positioned centrally at the front of the peep toe. The shoes are delightful with great detail, they are solid not fragile. The inner shoe is lined in cream/ beige colour leather and the inner sole is stamped with a gold motif "Especially made for" the base sole is light brown coloured leather, made from sturdy/ solid leather no cracks or splits to the shoe of any kind just roughness to the leather base on the sole as expected with wear on the base as photographed. The heel base is also leather in the same leather as the sole, remarkable as the wear is flat not graduated to one side. Clearly worn with care and looked after for special occasions. The top of the shoe (peep toe design) has been made with a very delicate heart design/ shape. This is a stunning example of true vintage footwear. Original. The measurements are: 25cm from end of toe to heel back. The size is approx. a UK 6.5/ 7. This is a really lovely collectable vintage, hand painted, earthenware, Arthur Wood jug vase. Patter , it is richly decorated with a raised floral pattern on a fabulous cream pearlescent lustre glaze that catches the colours in the light like a rainbow. The flowers are in yellow, blue and pink, so will complement many colour schemes and it has a nice angular deco shape. It is in excellent condition for the age - no cracks, chips or crazing and even the gold trim around the top of the jug is not worn. It has been lovingly looked after, displays beautifully and is fully functional as a vase. Height 220mm Width 190mm inc handle Diameter 460mm The famous pottery firm of Arthur Wood, Bradwell Works, Longport, Stoke-on-Trent (Staffordshire, England) was in operation from to and is best known for making a wide range of quality collectable teapots. From to the company traded as Arthur Wood & Sons Ltd. Since it has been part of Price & Kensington Potteries, still in production today at the original Bradwell Works site. In the early 's the firm name changed to Arthur Wood and Son. Work carried on, producing tableware alongside the previous work. In the 's, the company bought up Carltonware only to sell it on again.
