Vintage retro Sprite alpine caravan

Lovely Vintage Alpine Caravan which retains the majority of its original features. it has been restored to includenew frames work and inner boards, new tyres, adjustment of the hand brake and wheel bearings. It is light and easy to move by hand - one person can manage it fairly easily. Internally the gas hob and grill are in working order as is the water foot pump for the sink. The main internal light is gas operated and is also in working order. It will sleep 3 people with a bunk bed attachment at one end and a double bed at the other.(bunk is missing) There is decent storage space under the seats and above and below the cooker/sink unit. There is also a wardrobe with hanging space. It comes with a gas tank and 12 volt leisure Battery. Tools include the wheel spanner which also operates the four stability jacks. It also comes with a large Awning (see photos) a step unit for easy access in to the caravan, It would benefit from an external respray, but would be very usable as is. Sprite Alpine classic vintage caravan

1 of 125 manufactured at the time to celebrate 25 years of the Sprite caravan, complete with original retro awning as pictured (slight tear at base of fabric easily repaired). The caravan has 12v leisure battery, gas fridge, water pump and original hubcaps. At the front of the caravan is a seating area which we replaced all seat cushions just last year for 2 people with a table which converts to a single bed. At the back of the caravan we have added a new mattress (last year) to make a comfortable double bed, this can be converted into another double seating area with table if cushions were purchased. There's a small bathroom with portaloo and kitchen area with gas fridge, hob and grill. There's alot of storage including a wardrobe and i've made curtains and have the original currains too it has glass windows with aluminium frames. The interior is in the original condition not painted or the finish altered, it's light and easy to tow. Sprite Caravan

This is 'Aunt Alice', my lovely vintage Sprite caravan Extremely lightweight and easy to tow, she has brand new tyres and all exterior lights have been replaced with new fittings keeping the style as were on her originally. The van has been resealed on the exterior by removing awning rails and cleaning the old seal off before replacing with the correct caravan seal replacing rail and using new screws etc. Alice has had her wheels sandblasted before respraying and has her original sprite hub caps. The a frame, legs and winders etc are all in very good condition and working. The windows are all intact, these are glass all open. The interior has had each corner stripped back and the damp timbers replaced, resealed, and new timber fitted. She is now solid with no damp problems at all. Alice has been completely repainted, seating removed for necessary work to be carried out and new flooring fitted before seating restored back into place. The cushions have all been reupholstered and have removable covers which can be washed, the fabric I preshrunk before upholstering. The back rest to the long sofa stores the bunk bed, which keeps it safe when not in use. This is a four berth caravan, though the bunk really only suitable for a child. There is under bed seat storage to all areas and drawers in one side at the front and under the centre of the rear sofa. Next to this is also a set of drawers on one side and a wardrobe the other, this has shelves and clothes rail in. Above the kitchen area and the front seating are further cupboards for storage. The kitchen has a sink complete with both the original plug (sentimental) and a new one! Water is brought in by foot pump (or a bucket of hot water from the site!) There is also a double gas top with a grill under. There are also cupboards and drawers in this unit together with housing for a fridge if needed. Alice has a little washroom/storage this could easily house a portaloo if needed, she has her original bifold door too which opens out to give you more space in this room. The curtains are all fully lined and tie backs fastened back onto the van so you wont need to look for them in the morning. 4 berth consisting of a double bed to the front and bunk beds at the side back. Gas lighting as original. However there is also electric hook up for the sockets and usb points added and lighting. The lighting also runs from leisure battery, this includes under the cooking area, over the shelf at the rear of the van, in the washroom and also under the cupboards at the front of the van, these can all be operated individually.
