The label inside the hat says 678., I presume to be the hat measurement of 6 &7/8 THE MAKERS ADDRESS LABEL IS INSIDE: G A DUNNE & CO PICADILLY CIRCUS 429 STRAND, OXFORD STREET LONDON ALL BLACK SILK PATENT NO (IT MAY BE ) MY MAG GLASS IS NOT SO GOOD.) THE HAT OUTSIDE IS IN LOVELY CONDITION WITH JUST VERY SLIGHT WEAR ON THE UPPER RIM EDGE. THE INSIDE LEATHER TRIM HAS SOME (ABOUT 14) VERY TINY 'PINHOLES' IN, WHICH I ASSUME TO BE MOTH. THE SILK LINING INSIDE THE CROWN HAS TWO SMALL TEARS - THEY WONT PHOTOGRAPH THOUGH - TOO FINE. THE BOX & LID, WHICH IS THE ORIGINAL DUNNE & CO IS BROWN CARDBOARD, VERY SOLID BUT A BIT TATTY.
