Hand painted in Belgrave blue chalk paint this cute little French key rack measures W 60 x H 34 x D 13 cms. Shabby chic vintage wooden painted key tidy hooks hanger rack holder F&B Worsted grey(new shade)

A sweet little vintage wooden key rack/plaque holder freshly upcycled with the lovely brand new shade of Worsted from Farrow & Ball, a rather fab grey introduced in February of this year and named after the sleepy village in Norfolk where the famous cloth is woven. It is simply made from solid wood(not horrible modern mdf) with a shaped decorative top edge and two pre-drilled holes for wall fixing(screws not included) It has four little metal hooks to hang the keys from which are original. It has been lightly distressed on the edges to highlight the pretty shape and measures 35.5 cms wide,is 9 cms high and is just over 1 cm deep.I have several other matching items painted in this colour,a lovely vintage pine plate rack to go on the wall and a vintage 70's wall mounted wooden kitchen roll holder. This is a beautiful vintage linen-fold bureau. A quality piece of furniture made in Britain by Old Charm Furniture. Ideal as a laptop desk or a dressing table. This is a beautiful vintage bureau. A quality piece of furniture. Ideal as a work station or a lady's dressing table. This bureau has been lovingly, personally up-cycled: Chalk painted in Annie Sloan 'Paris Grey', subtly distressed, then finished with satin varnish. 'Work areas' (top and inside bureau) have had 2 coats for extra protection and durability. The back of the bureau has been fully painted and varnished. The chest section has: One smaller drawer at top (lockable) Two slightly larger drawers below (bottom drawer is lockable) Original, unusual, drop handles with back plates Keyhole on each drawer (1 is false and 2 are at a rather jaunty angle!) The bureau section has: Lid supports that extend automatically Plenty of pigeon holes and one small drawer inside Pigeon holes have been polished with Annie Sloan dark wax Lockable with original key This vintage piece of furniture has the odd mark, commensurate with it's age, which all adds to it's shabby chic character. I think it is oak, from early 20th Century, but I'm no expert. restored and reloved bureau! hand painted and distressed in a shabby chic style, using a blue/turquoise chalk paint and waxed for protection, this piece was restored sympathetically, however the original organiser inside was unsalvageable so was replaced with a new organiser, new drawer bottoms were installed also. a gorgeous vintage piece! It should be noted that at the back of one of the front feet a small part is missing, however this is not at all noticeable until you look round the back (as you can see in the photos) and restoration of this would have compromised the rest of the foot.
