For sale is this beautiful very large genuine vintage waxed canvas case. It's an absolute whopper perfect for extra storage, coffee table or shop display. It's in nice vintage aged condition with no harsh stains etc. Inside is clean outside has had a fresh coat of wax.   s Burny LP Custom Black Beauty Vintage

Up for sale, a s Burny LP Custom "Black Beauty" in exceptional, 100% original condition and in good working order.  This expertly crafted Japanese guitar clearly takes its cues from its Gibson cousin (no relation), and this Burny is a descendent of the famed "lawsuit" guitars from Japan's history, although there was no such controversy surrounding this particular brand or instrument.  The guitar retains the original VH-1 PAF replica humbuckers which have incredible harmonic content, great punch and an overall full and rich tonal character.  There's plenty of bite and chime in the top end too!  The weight of this guitar is par for the course with a typical Custom at 10bs 10oz.  This guitar is simply one of the most elegant and easy to play Les Pauls we've ever had in the shop here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar, with extremely low and comfortable action, near endless sustain, and solid intonation The neck has a medium C "60s" profile with original vintage style fretwear that only shows the lightest wear down near the nut beneath the B and G strings, and virtually no wear up the neck.  The neck sports white binding, block inlays and an original nut that's just shy of 1 3/4" width, leaving plenty of room for accurate lead work and effortless chording.   The headstock has a traditional pearloid diamond inlay along with the Burny logo (often mistaken for "Bunny") and gold Gotoh tuning machines with tulip buttons.  On the body, all of the electronics work as they should, with the usual individual volume and tone knobs for each pickup coupled with a three-way pickup selector.  The original gold hardware is extremely clean and vibrant with only light oxidation and fading on the bridge pickup cover.  There are also a couple faint marks in the clear coat on the face of the headstock around the A and G tuners from stray string ends.  Cosmetically, there's barely a scratch on this guitar, with no buckle rash on the back and a stunning gloss black finish. This is an excellent Japanese "Black Beauty" that's very faithful to the original LP design and complete with the coveted VH-1 "PAF" humbuckers! The original hardshell case is included. Edwardian Antique chamber cabinet bedside storage record player unit project LP vinyl storage

I purchased this to convert into a stand/storage unit for my record player as the internal height/Wide is the same size as an LP, however I never got round to it. There is a lip above the door that if removed and attached to the top of the existing door would enable the LP's to stand upright too although as you can see they fit in already the opposite way. Therefore would make a great project. However is also a nice historic storage piece too. It has a nice drawer underneath which is fully functional too. One of the rear legs has been pinned which you can see and although it is stable is slightly less secure than the other three. I have considered all of these points in the price of the unit and also the fact that there is some general surface marks and wear/tear due to its age. Vintage / Antique Wooden Travel Case / Storage Trunk

In need of a little TLC, as you can see in the attached photos the hinged edge between the two halves has actually come apart. For someone with the right crafting / fixing skills, it would be quite easy to refurbish this with some nice hinges, or even better a classic leather style hinge as you would have seen on trunks like this once upon a time. This minor issue aside the trunk is in fantastic condition for something over 50 years old, and the wooden bracing gives it that fantastic look. Local collection hugely preferred because of size.
