A really pretty, vintage drop leaf table that has been painted with Annie Sloan "Old White" chalk paint, then distressed and waxed to a lovely soft sheen. The chairs have been newly upholstered in a lovely floral Cath Kidston style fabric. The dimensions of the table are L150cm x W90cm x H76cm It folds down to a very compact W30cm x L90cm so ideal if you are a little short of space or only need it occasionally.A perfect "extra" table for Christmas, or those big family gatherings! This table is over 70 years old and is still as sturdy and solid as the day it was made! A very versatile piece of furniture, you can have either one or both of the leaves in or out at any one time. The 4 chairs have been newly upholstered in a lovely cream and charcoal striped fabric. The dimensions are; W84cm x H76cm x 170cm when fully extended. Lovely oval dining table and 4 chairs, 2 of which are carvers. Inlaid mahogany top and brass claw feet. Table top is hinged and folds up for storage as pictured. Table measures 118 x 78 cm. I found these in the attic of a victorian house we have just bought, I have no idea of its age, but other than being dusty and needing a good clean it is in great condition with no damage I can see The seats are only fixed on with dowel so will lift off to clean, or could easily be re-covered but the material is in great condition with no tears or pulls.
