VINTAGE 'S ADJUSTABLE DRESSMAKERS/TAILORS DUMMY

This 's Tailors Dummy consists of a wooden stand with 3 legs and is adjustable for height. The Adjustaform wire frame is taken off the top of the frame and can be moulded to fit a persons exact shape. The frame unclips at both front and back and retains the persons shape when returned to the frame thus providing accurate made-to-measure clothing. Obviously a used item but in good condition for its age. I am not sure but there may be a length of wire missing from the top of the frame where it sits on the stand. I have priced accordingly. With her tiny 22" wasp waist, this lovely s Stockman has an hourglass figure typical of the era. Her vital statistics are " It has a cream satin cover and a white painted stand. Body does not have any dents or major defects. The cover has some pin marks and rust speckles. The paintwork is old. Adjustable Female Dressmakers Dummy.

Unfortunately the stand is missing. What you see in the image is just part of it. She has not been used for years so she is probably feeling a bit unloved and in need of a suitable owner. I'm not an expert however it seems in fairly good condition apart from the neck, which looks as though it may have been snapped inside slightly by the original owner.
