Open flaps to see 16 lovely 3D animal pictures, each with a little information. Card size approx. 2” x 3”. In the centre of the folder is a map showing where they live. Some very minor wear and tear to the corners/edges of the cover – as would be expected/normal for an item of this age. Two of the inner flaps have some faint brown marks from sellotape that has aged and been removed, but these are just on the advertising pages and the inner portion where the pictures are – and the pictures themselves – are in good/very good condition. £2.00 BROOKE BOND TEA PICTURE CARDS BOOKS Vintage card sets – from Brooke Bond Tea Packets. Date from mid-late s or very early 70s. All (except Prehistoric Animals) show the book price as Sixpence so are pre-decimilisation. All books in good condition for their age but do have minor wear and to the covers. The cards were sellotaped in and as the tape has discoloured over the years, on a few pages faint brown marks have come through on to the reverse page. Some of the books have these marks but they are generally faint, not on every page, and don’t really spoil the item or make the information unreadable. Books measure 7.5” x 5 “ approx.. Titles are: • Tropical Birds – Complete. No date is shown it feels like this is the oldest book. • Wildlife in Danger – by Peter Scott – Complete. • Flags and Emblems of the World – Complete • Trees in Britain – Complete. This is a nice, informative book – shows not just the trees but the leaves and berries etc. But has my name written on front cover! • British Butterflies – Card No 5 missing. Small tear to corner of back cover. • Prehistoric Animals – Complete.
