Please note that the bike is located in Dalbeattie which is near Dumfries in the South West of Scotland. It is not near Glasgow, Edinburgh or London. I can not deliver it to the nearest train station. A lovely old town bike in good condition for a forty year old bicycle. This example has 24 inch wheels and a 19 inch or 48cm frame. I bought it last year with the plan on totally restoring the mechanical but my interest slipped. I have fitted two reproduction Raleigh Record white wall tyres although one of the inner tubes appears to have had a hole from manufacture. It still has it's original Brookes saddle with some wear and a rivet missing from the badge on the back. The Sturmey Archer 2-Speed Hub needs rebuilt as I have tried myself but something doesn't appear to be quite right as there isn't much space left for the wheel bolts to attach to the axle.. There is a new indicator chain included as the original was broken. Ad ID:
