It needs a bit of 'tittivation' and repainting, but I decided not to do this as the new owner would most likely want to change the colour. 5ft Pine Welsh Dresser, pot dresser with two drawers

This Solid pine Welsh dresser was made for me in the s by a local pine shop. It is 5ft wide. the base is open at the bottom, which is why it is a Welsh pot dresser with 2 drawers over. The base is 29.5" high, the top is 42" high. The base and top are not joined together at all, making it easier for transporting. The top of the base does have some water marks but to my mind this just adds to it's charm, Only selling because we have changed our taste in decor and this no longer fits with our design. The top has been backed with antique planks which has signs of woodworm holes, long since dead, which cannot be seen on the photographs.The overall dimensions are: H 200 x W 158 x D 55 cms. It has a moulded pine top.It splits into two sections.The top is 152 W x 97 H x 23 D max. The top section contains 2 shelves D 17 and 30 cms between shelves. The base is 158 W x 100 H x 55 D cms. It has 2 large drawers 66 W x 20 H x 41 D. Right hand drawer has a pine cutlery divider. For sale is this absolutely stunning antique Welsh chest of drawers. It's a lovely solid scruffy old thing with bags of character and charm. It's totally original I've just given it a clean and wax. It has fantastic proportions, clean inside, a lovely inlay detail on the drawers and a very unusual combination of 2 over 4 drawers making it a little different from the norm. I honestly can't say enough about this piece it's cracking but if you're looking for a pristine restored antique this is not for you. Dimensions are Width 112 Height 115 Depth 53 all cms All of my items are genuine vintage or antique.
