ELECTRONICS REPAIR ENGINEER/EXPERT

I am looking for somebody who is expert or competent with electronics to repair/refurbish a DENON DR-M44HX. The work needed would include: mechanism servicing - replacing of belts/idlers, and lubrication possibly speed calibration. 3 head alignment (azimuth). Calibration of electrical circuits such as: Bias Auto tuning circuit, Dolby circuit (HX Pro B&C). Recording gain and playback gain. This is what I have identified so far, there may be more. I understand that getting parts for a cassette deck is a difficult challenge, therefore any work undertaken would be greatly appreciated! i may have found a service manual, of which i will try to obtain for the work to be completed. I also have a SONY ST-S770ES TUNER, which I believe would benefit from some calibration! I do have the service manual for it, with the required specifications, and testing points. Late 50's highly collectable portable radio in Blue and cream with chrome trim. 3-push button wave band selections MW/LW/208 designed when people regularly listened to radio Luxembourg. Still in its original box this radio I believe it was purchased for occasional use on a boat, but looking at the condition appears to have had little use. I doubt you will find a better example. Excellent introduction to electronics construction as a hobby, with some basic electronics theory also covered in serialised articles. Mostly simpler projects, few involving microprocessors, with most components not requiring anti-static handling or tricky soldering. (The later magazines were contemporary with the ZX80 and ZX81 home computers, which are advertised in some of them, but pre-date the BBC Micro.) Good summer holiday projects for inquisitive minds aged ! Electronics components required still available today from Maplin Electronics and others online. Magazines are intact and in good to very good condition, excepting April that had a voucher cut from the front page. Duplicate April issue. Some issues in sequence are missing - what you see in the photos is what you'll get. Hoping that new owner can have fun and learn about electronics through these, as I did.
