I discovered this lovely antique Wedgwood Pale Blue Solid Jasper Ware Posy Vase amongst some of my mum's belongings. I would think it is from the 's? This lovely vase features four separate cameo scenes. The first is a cherub resting on a chair in a garden playing a harp. The second is a cherub in the same garden reading from a scroll. The third is a lovely young woman resting beneath a tree reading while a dog attempts to play with her. The final scene features what appears to be an archer resting under a tree with his faithful canine companion by his side. It has the Incised "WEDGWOOD MADE IN ENGLAND and Codes stamped on the underside" and which will most likely date it? Approximately 4.75" Ht x 2.5" Diameter Finished in a matte Wedgwood blue background with a central neoclassical cameos in white relief, bordered by laurel leaves and flora.
