It comprises of a porcelain base, brass holder with working parts, a clear glass chimney and a frosted opaque glass outer shade.   Small CLAY Oil Lamp Perfect Artifact Rome

Amazing small OIL Lamp, made of clay or terracotta. Like peach, grey ish color, measures less than 3 inches in total length. Sits about 1 inch in height. Double burner brass oil lamp in perfect working order.

A double burner brass oil lamp in lovely condition and perfect working order. It has new wicks and a replacement glass chimney. There is a lever on the side that brings a cover over the wicks. Not sure exactly what this is for, which is possibly to extinguish the flame (although you can do this by lowering the wicks with the height adjuster knobs) or it might be there just protect the top of the wicks and stop them drying out. I have tried to show this mechanism in the photos. I'm not sure how old it is but it appears to have had little use so my guess is that it's a modern reproduction. I rescued it from the local recycling centre about 8 years ago, gave it a clean, fitted new wicks, a chimney and some lamp oil to get it working. It has stood on a shelf unused ever since. It could do with a clean and polish but I can't stand polishing brass, which is why it's for sale! Read More

A very desirable lantern. I have not tested to see if it is working and as you can see in the pics it is tarnished on the top and on its body- however this does add to its rustic charm! Vintage Oil Lamp This oil lamp is in beautiful condition. It has a lovely round white shade. This lamp is very unusual. The metal is a dark pewter colour in appearance. The base is silver colour, but has some black marks on it. The wick holder, wick adjusters and shade holder are brass. It is possible that the material may be brass that has been dipped in order to prevent it tarnishing. However, I could be completely wrong as this is only a guess.
