Large country oak roll top desk made by country oak I have had this desk for about 10 years and it has been a wonderful purchase,it has many draws and is quite big so you will need a large ish room for it. It looks amazing and is a great focal point for any room,a rather sentimental item for me but I need the room so it is time for the desk to have a new home,the dimensions are as follows. Width 137. The right hand side draw at the top is a bit hard to open and shut and there is a small amount of wear and tear as would be expected but otherwise this roll top desk is a spectacular piece. Oak and oak veneer roll top desk with lovely warm golden tone. This is an attractive desk but it has had a hole cut through the back, also the roll top section to allow for a cable for a lap top to be plugged in so that the wire can exit the back, which is reflected in the price.The cut at the back of the desk is a bit rough (tried to show in photo), but not really visible from the front and the hole thats been cut in the roll top is not visible when open from the front. We always kept it open but the roll top does open and close. Marks and wear commensurate with age, please see photos. This desk is in great working condition. The Tambor Front Top opens to reveal a fitted interior with original leather insert on desk surface which will slide out easily, at the rear it comprises of various pigeon holes and Two Small Drawers at each end sat above Two Shaped Pen Drawers. When the Tambor is closed the Lower drawers lock automatically.
