Vintage Wooden s Art Deco ? (not sure of age) Mirrored Hall Hat and Coat Stand with 2 umbrella trays and storage seat. Has 6 Hooks. Measures approx 179cm tall, 66 cm wide, seat 51.5cm. Needs a tidy up. 5 of 6 hooks bases are the same, one is different although all hooks are of the same style. Mirror is foxed but easily replaced. Back of storage box looks like it's been replaced with hardboard and is loose. Base of box is badly chipped and has been stapled in place and is loose. Has holes in back legs and brackets to screw stand to wall for safety. Back legs are worn and one has a crack. I've tried to photograph all issues. Otherwise it's ok for age. The unit has a fixed original oval mirror and the two original metal umbrella pans to collect drips. The unit has always been known to us as is but in the past it must have had a wooden central piece which was cut out. The top section shows a decorative row of carved patterns and floral decorations. The umbrella and hat stand is in good solid condition with all original parts. The colour is warm brown. Old and Large Solid Oak Rotating Coat and Hat Stand.

Bought many years ago at an antique fair, this lovely stand has stood in our hall covered in coats until now when we're having a clear out. The upper coat section rotates so that you can get at your coats. Is an imposing and unusual piece yet very practical because of the hat section and because you can hang two layers of coats - one close to the main trunk and the second hanging form the rotating wheel. Very heavy & solid. Find somewhere to put and leave it there is my advice! 195cms tall and 70 cms diameter at base & rotating upper wheel. Could be delivered locally in Hassocks or Crawley areas.
