Original (about ), vintage, hand- sewn, good condition, slightly worn in places (tiny hole in sleeve and under one arm and a bit of fraying on one cuff and lining (see photos). Co.“A” Grey Coatee. Gilded brass buttons with motto "Excelsior National Guard", manufacturers Ridabock & Co. New York (see photo). Thick gold hand-embroidered applications to front, back and sleeves (see photos). Black loops on shoulders for epaulets (no epaulets included), mandarin collar fixed with metal hooks. Secret pocket in the coattail (see photo). Would fit woman size 8 or 10, or child. I think the material is wool coat with a cream calico lining.
