Gigged for quite a few years from the early seventies on. Not used for a long period (unused since serviced by John Godsland in Exeter, Orchid Electronics) Looking to sell to upgrade my present bass rig (Looking for Mark Bass 800W setup) The Marshall is the vintage type with the toggle switches and no pre amp only the main volume control, rare as hens teeth ! Ashdown Bass Amp 100w

I am selling my old practice amp. Works perfectly and has a great sound. 1 of the feet is missing from the bottom of the amp, which means is will tilt slightly when you put a bit of weight on the front of the amp. Marshall Bass State Bwatt Bass Combo Amplifier amp,12" speaker

Despite its rough exterior, this Marshall Bass State B65 has been checked over and repaired internally so that it works as it should but only not sure the active channel is working,the passive channell is fine. It is a bit battered looking with rips and scuffs to outer cover (as seen in the photographs), but beyond this it will make a great gigging or practising amp- with added character. It was given to me and I am looking to sell as I do not use it, and although it makes a great decorative piece I think it should be making more noise. Comes with a kettle lead. Collection only.   Alligator Bass Amp Combo 100w - 2x10

Alligator Bass Combo 2x10 Condition Used, it's ideal for rehearsals, practice and small gigs or combined for bigger gigs.. It was a bit dusty when I got it out of the loft but it's now clean. It's a great little combo, It was a British brand that made this nice amplifiers for a while before collapse, which is a shame as if you heck in google, they had nice reivews everywhere.  I bought this from new, when I was a bassist, it's a very powerful for it's size, it is ideal for the beginner /Amateur taking it to the next stage, great for gigs (can be mounted up with other for extra power) for rehearsals with band in studio and at home practice. Technical aspects of the Combo. 2 x Inputs - hi/low  active/passive Gain Compressor  - This processor is designed to stop peak outputs from overdriving the amp, it will also increase the lower leve inputs. This means that generally that you can play a bit louder without the amp losing it on loud passages. Some are good some are not - perosnal preference thing. 5 pre-set soundshaper presets one of them being EQ - yep that sounds right in terms of the eq switch. I think the others gave a boost to the low end and the high end. Not sure about the others but it might be a contour switch which cuts mid frequency - which tends to work with slap or pick sounds. Essentially the switches should allow you to modify the sound quickly, then use the graphic to fine tune - best to experiment with what you like. Master Volume- bi-amp - bi amp will probablt split the high and low frequency part of your sound, it might be that you can route the the high frequency signal back through the combo nd the low end through a slave amp and bigger cab - say a 1x15.  for bigger gigs! and the standby switch - generally this allows you to mute the sound of the amp when you turn it on which can avoid some fo the dramatic thumps. and on the back there is: Loud Speaker Output - Minimum 8ohm load - to connect an extension cab of at least 8ohm or more 2xEffects Loop  - you can use this to add effects after the eq which should be quieter Mixer/Slave - connects to a mixer or slave to give you more oomph at gigs.   It's a  bargain for a combo - use it on its own for practices and quiet gigs and with the extension cab to give extra volume and better bass response.

Fender Rumble 100w (V3) Bass Amp

This is a brilliant 100W Fender V3 Rumble bass amp and is virtually brand new and in perfect condition. I purchased it from Dawsons Music in Reading on 24th May for £276 when I joined a band to play bass and have used it maybe half a dozen times. I'm only selling it because I've switched from bass to guitar in the band - possibly the shortest bass career of all time! It has a great sound at low volumes for rehearsal but pumps out plenty of level for pub gigs and the like. It has standard 4 channel EQ but also has three classic presets for 'Bright', 'Contour' and 'Vintage' sounds, along with Drive/Overdrive options. On the rear panel is an output for an additional external speaker, an Effects Send and Return Loop for pedals, an Aux In for CD/mp3 player, a headphone socket for silent playing, a footswitch input and a balanced Line Out for connection to PA or recording DAW. This is also a very good amp for bass players with a bad back - it weighs just 10Kgs!
