Lovely marble washstand with tiled back and cupboard

This is a useful and attractive piece of furniture which I have had for 36 years and am selling reluctantly because we have downsized on retirement and just don't have enough room for everything. The tiles on the backboard are burgundy with gold/yellow/green floral motifs and in perfect condition as is the marble top with red, white and grey hues in the marbling. The only wear is slight where the little catch for the cupboard door turns around. I have used the cupboard for napkins and tablecloths but it is a useful size for anything. This is a lovely, unique piece of Victorian furniture. It includes two wooden doors leading to one combined cupboard. Above this is the genuine, solid marble top. The cabinet upstand is made up of lovely coloured tiles and above this is a central, attractive mirror. The cabinet also has a wooden shelf at the base. Edwardian wash stand on original wheels. Marble top in good condition for age (see photos). This has been painted (not by me) in a soft blue/green chalk paint that matches the tiled back beautifully. A lovely solid unit, a real statement piece that could be used almost anywhere in the house. Large cupboard underneath for storage.
