Bed: California King - approximately 200cm by 200cm Espresso finish masterfully crafted of rich mahogany for the look of an heirloom. Gray wash finish is hand applied in multiple layers. Finished entirely by hand, using a multistep process that highlights the wood’s natural grain. Headboard and footboard are kiln-dried solid mahogany and mahogany veneers Bedside tables: Very good condition, with only minor surface damage to the lacquer on the top of one piece 66 cm (length) x 51 cm (depth) x 75 cm (height) The frame, legs and drawer fronts are crafted from solid mahogany. The drawer sides and back are made of hardwood; the drawer bottom is made of plywood with mahogany wood veneer. Finished by hand in an exclusive multistep process to achieve a rich mahogany stain, then sealed with a protective lacquer. Solid Mahogany period bedroom set, reproduction, Queen Anne, Tudor bespoke style. Super king size bed, chest of drawers and love seat, which is a secret storage chest. A very small amount of damage, but otherwose excellent condition. Damage as follows: Bed: very, very, very small crack on head board, literally unnoticeable, but I want to mention it. A one or two of the slats are a tiny bit cracked, where the screws go in. But this is solid mahogany! Loveseat: No damage Chest of drawers: teeny chip off one corner drawer, very, very small. Scratch to top, does not really notice. I am also giving away fro FREE, the bed curtains, of which there are four, the eiderdown, matching cushions, valance and canopy. The window curtains, swags and tails, all ready to be put up. These were all specially commissioned for this bedroom set, and made by a professional seamstress. The total cost of the bedding and curtains alone was £. I also have the mattress. IT is a little stained, but would do until you could afford a new one. Superking mattresses are VERY expensive! It is othopedic. But you are welcome to it, also for free. The chest of drawers is sumptuous, with barley twist detailsvto front, carving on sides and matching bronze tone drawer knobs. Two small drawers and three wide drawers underneath, on carved bun feet. The love seat is carved both sides and front of back. The seat lifts up into a very large secret storage space. The bed is a superking. Carved all over. Barley twist posts, with extra finials on the top of the posts, for extra complimenting detail. It is solid mahogany, including the slats. The posts do come off, and you can have the bed without them. The mattered sits inside the frame, which makes it perfectly neat. The material for the bedding and curtains is very heavy tapestry. Pair of Vintage Shield Back Ladies/Bedroom Chairs Mahogany? £130

Carved backs, no signs of woodworm that I can see. The backs are a wee bit loose, but what do you expect with the original glue drying for 100 years or more. Webbing is broken on one, the springs are all there as far as I can see as is the original horse hair padding. Would benefit from new upholstery unless you like a distressed look. Should be easy to re-glue backs when they are being upholstered. Height of seat around 43cm and total height about 89cm. See pictures for more details. Email any questions please.
