This is my trusty Hohner 32, Student Melodica. I've recently acquired another Blue Melodica so I'm looking to let one of the two go. It has 32 keys, blow tube and mouth piece all included. Even though it says 'Student 32' it is actually one of the better Melodicas on the market. Cheaper ones litterally sound like toys while the proffesional ones cost £100's, so this is pretty much the go to bench mark in terms of sound and durability. All the notes play beautifully, with no jamming keys or garish notes coming out of the thing - a bargain at £40! It's ideal for accordionists who want something more portable to join in sessions with. It's also a great instrument for younger players to learn on, as the keys are more than manageable to get around and you can create really interesting, intuitive effects with the air you blow through it. I also teach Melodica, so if you're interested in starting some one off with lessons I cold offset some of the cost of the instrument with lessons, no problem. Thanks for reading Read more

Hohner Student V, 48 Bass, 26 Treble Keys, Piano Accordion.

Up for sale, I have a Hohner, Student V, 48 bass accordion with 26 treble keys, 2 voice, tremolo tuned (MM), treble keyboard measuring " ranging from B to C. It has 3 treble couplers, M (Clarinet), MM (Clarinet and Clarinet) and M (Clarinet). It is a 4 voice bass. Both treble and bass reeds have been tuned to concert pitch (A = 440Hz). Not sure where the accordion was made, it was either, Germany, or China, with the Hohner name on it, circa, 's/ 00’s, so it is quite a good quality instrument, using the finest of materials. Keyboard is fast and quiet. It has also been serviced with adjustments, replacements and cosmetic touches made where required. The compression is excellent, and it also comes with one original shoulder strap (red one), and a black strap, which is in similar dimensions. Comes with a good quality hard case. This is an excellent accordion, suitable for beginners to experienced players, which has had very little use, hence, little wear and has many years of life left in it. This accordion can either be viewed by appointment, or alternately, you can get in touch and we can arrange a time to view it through skype, or if you just want to near what it sounds like, I can make an audio recording on request. In addition to the above, I am offering 1 hour of free tuition valid up to 1 month after the purchase of the accordion. Unfortunately, I cannot discount from the accordion, the price of the lesson to anyone who cannot take up my offer of the hour’s free lesson. I am prepared to post this accordion at buyer’s own expense. I will give a weight of the accordion for postage purpose; where upon the buyer can arrange a courier to pick it up from my premises. Finally admitting my midgetness and downgrading to an accordion that isn't bigger than my torso.
