VINTAGE GIBSONS GILDED TEA POT, 's, 's

A lovely, vintage English teapot by Staffordshire potter: Gibsons. Pretty pale blue lustre with gold foliage detail and nice thick, gold gilding to the spout. Full size - Capacity: 1 and three quarters of a pint. Good vintage condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Gilding to the main body rims, spout and foliage detail is very good. The handle and lid-finial have a little more wear but nothing major. Glaze-crazing and some tiny little dots of loss of colour to the blue lustre body with age.
