It has holes in the bottom for drainage and these could be welded if you wanted it as a water trough. Vintage cast iron tank-ideal drinker, water feature or planter. 28 x 14 x 8 ins. A vintage water tank without cracks or holes so it will hold water. It could be used as a drinking trough or filled with water and used for aquatic plants and goldfish in the summer. It could be used as a planter but it has no drainage. It measures 28 x 14 across the top and 23.5 x 11 ins at the bottom. It's around 8 ins deep. Nicely oxidized but it could be rubbed down and painted. Collection from Nonington CT15 4HY

Horse trough,cast iron/galvanised -vintage in Fareham

This is a vintage horse trough in exceptional condition,still mostly galvanised,but giving it an aged look but not rusty like many of this type. Note this type of trough were used three per pole in cities, at differing heights. Will be suitable for a small pond/waterfall pool, or indeed a horse or other animal water /feed trough. Its dimensions are:- External- 96cm across long side,70cm across each short side,28cm deep. Internal- 54cm width,30 cm depth.
