Fender bassman blackface guitar amplifier , genuine 50 yr old amp and cab.

Genuine Fender Bassman Blackface guitar amp and cabinet, piggyback head unit and cabinet, this also has the original standstr on the side of the speaker cabinet. The unit ALL guitarists want, dont be put off by the term "Bassman" this is very much a rhythm/Lead guitar amp too and is superb for any guitar style. Please check this out online these are the dogsdanglers..... It has a couple of marks but nothing major, it also has one tiny hole in the front cloth but again I am being picky, but hell its half a century old.... If you require any more info/pics just ask, i will take some pics of the speakers in the cabinet shortly, it is in first class condition for a 50 year old unit..!! This must be the cheapest one of its kind in this condition.. These retail around the £ mark.......check it out...i have priced this too sell as i am after a top end motorcycle....... I've used this amp live and it has enough beef to compete with a live band. Clean channel is based on a Deluxe reverb (awesome) and has a Fat Boost switch to take it into more tweed like territory if desired. Drive Channel (Burn) is great, very versatile. Second gain control controls the amount of compression. Turning this control up leads to tighter more modern sound. Turning it down gives an open more vintage sound. Fender 59 bassman with original eminence blue frame alnico speakers (preferable to Jensens) Just been serviced by Mac amps Leeds. Can either run on tube rectifier for more sag or diode for more headroom. Both are included. Sounds huge due to 4x10. Only slightly heavier than a deluxe reverb. Great with pedals. This is a very loud, organic sounding amp not to be confused with blues deluxe/Deville. Totally different beast. Used to belong to Boon Gould of level 42 if this type of thing interests you ! Very good condition - a couple of minor nicks and scuffs in the Tolex which hopefully can be seen in the photos. I have upgraded the Tone switch to a Tone pot and added Fender Tiltback legs which make it much easier to hear when playing. It is a really loud 13 watts and takes pedals beautifully.
