Wood extending Table and 6 Matching Chairs. Two extension leafs available. Mostly used with one extension leaf and very comfortably seats 6, although 6 chairs fit around the table without any extension in. If you're looking for a large table that can fit 10 comfortably, this will be perfect and can even go to 12 if you have appropriate additional seating. When the table is set out with all places, there is ample room to put many additional serving dishes in the centre. In the closed position the table has a latch on the underside to keep it firmly together, although we have not found it necessary to use it. The table slides apart to fit each leaf with both wood dowels and metal location lugs. It does need two people to insert an extension leaf as one needs to slide one end of the table while the other person holds the opposite end in position. The table is in very good condition and has always been used with a table cloth for protection. There is a small amount of lacquer that has rubbed off an edge as shown in picture 9 but the surface is absolutely fine. The chairs have a cushioned material seat base with piping in the same colour material. The covering is soft but of a very hard-wearing quality with an easy clean protection. There is no damage or stains to the seat bases and they look as new. Extending Dining Room Table and Chairs

This is a lovely sturdy Dining Room set in a light coloured wood. It comprises of an extendable table and six high back chairs. The table can be a smaller round table measuring 42" approx at the widest part. It can be extended by simply pulling the two ends apart and inserting a mid piece, giving you a table measuring 5 feet at the longest point. It sits on top of a central column supported on four feet. The round table top can be removed by unscrewing 4 bolts. I have already done this to aid easier moving and storage. The four legs can also be removed if necessary for transporting. There are six matching chairs. They are sturdy and comfortable due to the flat design on the spindles. This set was pre owned prior to our purchasing it. We used the smaller round table mostly with the occasional use of the insert. It was easy to store when not in use as it didn't take up much room. There is some minor damage to the edges of the table as can be seen in the photos. It looks worse I think due to someones attempts to cover it. We had intended to fix it but as we had a surface protector and cloth covering it, we never got around to it. One of the chairs also has a loose spindle and again someone attempted to repair it, unsuccessfully! See the last two pictures. As we didn't use the large table often and only used four of the chairs, we didn't get around to getting this fixed. This is a quality dining room set that will last. We are selling as the round table doesn't fit our kitchen space as it is just a bit too big. We have replaced it with a rectangle set. Please email or phone, NO TEXTS they will not be answered.
