The dresser top has been white waxed to enhance the natural grain of the wood. The interior has been painted in bright pink as a stunning contrast. The two internal drawers have been painted and number stencilled. Super clean inside and out and the top comes off for transport. Dimensions are Height 170 Width 147 Depth 51 all cms All of my items are genuine vintage or antique. Items of this age come with obvious age related knocks, bumps and scratches etc. In my opinion this only adds to the their originality and style. Refurbished to a high standard which has created a stunning item of furniture. Ercol furniture is made from high quality timber by craftsmen. This Ercol dresser is made from elm which is a beautiful hardwood similar to Oak. It is now rare because of the demise of the elm tree population in the last 50 years. The light coloured elm of the base unit top has been sanded back and coated with three coats of Osmo Polyx Hardwax Oil, satin, which enhances the grain and provides a beautiful durable finish. The dresser has been hand painted with 2 coats of trade undercoat and 3 coats of Farrow and Ball, Estate Eggshell 'Mizzle' No. 266, which has produced a fantastic hard wearing finish.
