A Classic Early Edwardian Ladies Dressing Table
A classic Edwardian Dressing Table, part of an original bedroom set (dressing table, wardrobe, washstand) owned by my wife's grandmother (d. ) which has been in the family for over a century, and is still in use today! It stands on 4 tapering legs finished with original furniture rollers. With six drawers - two full-width, two half-width and two small jewelry drawers - the dressing table has an interestingly shaped pivoting mirror. In common with the rest of the set, there is a delicate marquetry motif inlaid into the wooden panels and drawer facings, and decorative metal handles. We are reluctantly selling this piece (and its partner pieces) as we are moving into a smaller house. If you would like to see the matching wardrobe, let us know and we will send photos.
