VINTAGE CLASSIC PORTMASTER 23F GYPSY CARAVAN

It has been lived and towed every few days, for the last three years by an artist plumber. Before that another family for six years and a family of showmen from new. Dry and fairly good condition considering the age (42 years old!). Is solide and heavy construction build to last. The base is good but rusty under. The brake are disconnected. 4 goods tires but no spear reels. Inside: apart from some modification from the original like the kitchen (stainless sink/hob/drainer) and a kit size bed in the bedroom, the trailer is nearly complete with mirrors in cupboards, doors, handles, catches etc. Wooden burner is not original but work. The light is not connected. The door is broken but close, one of the tree roof vents need replacing, they dont leak, but two dont open. The trailer is actually in a storage in Brighton, Essex. Sprite Alpine classic vintage caravan

1 of 125 manufactured at the time to celebrate 25 years of the Sprite caravan, complete with original retro awning as pictured (slight tear at base of fabric easily repaired). The caravan has 12v leisure battery, gas fridge, water pump and original hubcaps. At the front of the caravan is a seating area which we replaced all seat cushions just last year for 2 people with a table which converts to a single bed. At the back of the caravan we have added a new mattress (last year) to make a comfortable double bed, this can be converted into another double seating area with table if cushions were purchased. There's a small bathroom with portaloo and kitchen area with gas fridge, hob and grill. There's alot of storage including a wardrobe and i've made curtains and have the original currains too it has glass windows with aluminium frames. The interior is in the original condition not painted or the finish altered, it's light and easy to tow. Here we have a Eccles Bounty caravan. Not much more is known, apart from Eccles changing the interior layout every couple of months during this period so we have only been able to restore the caravan to the layout as we bought it. Refurbishment recently completed fully waterproofed and repainted, all interior woodwork refinished. Some new woodwork has been fitted to replace interior items bodged by the previous owner. Running gear was serviced just prior to me buying the caravan, wheel bearings, brakes etc renewed. The floor and A frame are in good condition. I have not checked gas and electrical installations due to an operation on my hand for arthritis, but they were fine when last used.. Two of the windows are Perspex and I have not replaced these due to my hand problems. The caravan comes with a matching awning of heavy duty canvas which measures metres x 1.90 metres. Included is the (as far as we know) the original Elsan toilet (bucket and chuck it) and all the crockery and cutlery as seen in the photos. There is also a box of memorabilia from these era should you intend to show the caravan I have towed this van for 100 miles with no problems. Cheltenham puku 2 vintage classic caravan We have owned BETTY for nearly 4 happy years, but due to owning another vintage caravan we are letting someone else enjoy her. she was repainded by hand by the last owner and has the following added to the standard spec: 12v volt electric lights with led strip lights over sink and oven area. 12v leisure battery charges via connector to car when towing or 240v when connected to mains 240v sockets and 240v heater fitted. 12v sink tap to submersible pump fitted to rear of van just like modern vans hand made new curtains and pelmets fitted l8 months ago in Cath kidston fabrics and re-upholseterd seating which I have made to make a double bed across the van. full size retro awning see pictures.
