Duchess - "Wood Anemone" collectible 12 piece set, bone china, vintage cups saucers & plates.Wedding

This set is made by the English manufacturer Duchess. The items are bone china and are now discontinued. The set is named and stamped on all pieces as "Wood Anemone". This is a beautiful set that can be found on a UK website supplying replacement china. If you google Chinasearch UK you can find this pattern. They have theirs priced at £ for the side plate and £ for each cup. They do not have the saucers in stock as I write this. To replace your cups and side plates WITHOUT the saucers from this website would cost you in excess of £100! Even if we were to make a conservative estimate that they would sell the saucers for around £5 each (I expect the true figure would be much higher) this set would cost you £121 to purchase on there. I'm asking a modest 1/6 of what I estimate their worth from the replacement website to be. Mine are not in perfect condition and this is reflected in their price. Three of the side plates have a small chip on the underside of the rim. This is not at all visible from above. Two of the saucers also have something on top of the glaze (picture 7). I suspect these issues can be repaired or at least mitigated. Other than those flaws described above and photographed for you these are actually in very good condition. They do not show signs of crazing or cracks and the gold trim is in fantastic condition even on the cups indicating they were probably kept as display pieces rather than used. The set contains: 4 cups 4 saucers 4 side plates These would make a beautiful alternative to flowers or chocolate for Mothers day or Easter and will last longer. Alternatively a birthday gift for for a family member or a friend who loves all things vintage:) I collected about 100 cups saucers and side plates for my wedding so please check my other listings over the next week or so for more crockery.
