My favourite though would be to use it for a wedding. Great for putting presents/cards in from guests draped with fairy lights!! A superb British made antique steamer trunk. Outstanding quality black painted metal with solid wood braces all round. A stunning original coppered interior. This is in completely original condition so has some dents and marks that all add to its character, full of life and history. Writing reads: H.F Tunbridge, c/o Miss D.Mason,501 New South Head RD,Double bay, Sydney,Australia. This could be used for storage (all catches and handles work),perhaps a blanket box at the foot of a bed. At the moment I have it stood on end and am using it as a lamp stand, endless possibilities. Vintage steam ship trunk. Curved top with wooden bands.

A victorian/edwardian era vintage shipping trunk in good order for it age.  Straight, with no holes or major damage.  No renovation work has been carried out on it.  It has been taken out of the roofspace where it was once used to store wartime memorabilia.  Carries the initials EMH, and has two locks and a centre catch.  One of the stickers on the trunk refers to Pacific Line running to South America in the 's through the Panama canal, then to Chile and Peru. One such boat was the tons RMS Oroya.  Size of trunk, 870mm long x 520mm wide x 335mm high.  Would make a good coffee table!  £95.

A gorgeous turquoise blue metal banded vintage steamer trunk with tartan pattern lining. There is wear and tear outside and inside (see photos), including a dent in the base and one of the handles has been replaced with a rather wonderful string creation. Two vintage travel labels complete this lovely trunk. Initialled D.J.D.Vicary on the lid. The locks are rusty but close okay. No key. This will make a fabulous coffee table or decor piece, either at home or as a display piece for a shop or wedding, a true vintage gem.
