I've owned this guitar from new and it has spent nearly it's entire life under my bed, it's in perfect condition and has all the original case candy unused. I original bought this guitar from Peach guitars in Braintree, I can probably find the original invoice at a push. It's a beautiful guitar, it's very difficult to get a good picture of candy apple red so I would suggest viewing the guitar if possible. As stupid as it sounds this guitar even smells great. This guitar was once biege. Westfield make. Decent neck. The black scratch guard has been removed for aesthetic purposes. It was a very accurate fit. The name has been sanded off. The guitar has been in my possession for 15 years now, hang on, no 16 years. I put a new ashtray bridge on it and it's set up for open tune slide. The circuitry could do with some attention clean up. The guitar would be an ideal project for pickup/tuner upgrade, however I'm out of time as far as that sort of thing is concerned. For sale is this Fender USA American Vintage Hot Rod Telecaster, made in . These are no longer available to buy and are becoming more sought after. Cost c. £ new The guitar is in excellent condition, with only a couple of small marks on the body as shown in the photos. All original, except the stock Seymour Duncan Gibson Firebird type mini-humbucker neck pickup was removed by a previous owner and a high spec. Gibson Burstbucker installed. This replacement Gibson pickup alone is worth c.£100. The original mini-humbucker is also provided, it's in the case. Comes complete with original hard case in almost unmarked condition, plus all hangtags, key for case etc. that originally came with the guitar. This guitar has a fantastic, quite large (but not full baseball bat) neck, and the frets are in excellent shape with hardly any wear. All switches & pots function correctly with no buzzes or scratches. Plays beautifully, quite powerful gutsy vintage tone from both pickups, which are quite hot. The current neck humbucker blends beautifully with the bridge pickup in the middle position, and both pickups sound great pon their own. Has had a recent pro-setup with 10s, and is solid as a rock. Feel free to try it out, my amp is a Laney VC15 small valve amp, or bring your own.
