Ern Solinge S525 Silver Steel straight razor (Cut Throat) This is a listing for a vintage Ern made in Germany S525 straight razor. It measures approx. 5-3/4” in the closed position. The blade is 3" This razor was not made for export but for the German home market, so all writing on it is in German Made from silver steel (Silber- Sthal) with 10 Jahre Garantie (10 years guarantee) etched on the decorated blade. It has been used and could do with a clean, the blade is in good condition. I am selling as a collectible but I tested it 'as is' on my 3-day old stubble before listing, it pulled a bit but still gave a decent shave so it would need stropping if it were to be used.
