Approx I was told storage piano stool The firm was established as E Atkins in by Edwin Atkins. The firm originally had factories at Church Row, Bethnal Green, London and in Birmingham. It was incorporated in , with Edwin Atkins, his son Claude Cyril Atkins and George Clifton Sunley as shareholders and directors. It later changed its name to Atcraft Ltd, and moved to a factory at the Atcraft Works, Alperton, Wembley in the s. The product range consited mainly of indoor and garden chairs, occasional and garden tables, hall furniture, bureaux, hammocks and camp beds, cots and playpens, prams and invalid chairs. The piano is a straightstrung upright piano and all the strings are vertical. The action is an overdamper. The hammers are underneath a shelf, and there are stiff wires at the front of the action. The piano is in a fairly good condition but may need tuning. The frame number is: , and the total length of the piano including the piano keys measures approximately 134 cm. The wood is Rosewood veneer with a beautiful walnut carcass. Also include in the price is a beautiful used antique piano stool with draws for storage for either piano sheets, books or magazines. The piano stool has attractive ornate handles and feet.
