A Quality Early Victorian Inlaid Mahogany Astrical Glazed Bow Fronted Corner Cupboard A good quality early Victorian Inlaid Mahogany Astrical glazed bow fronted corner unit. The cabinet is made from mahogany which has a good colour and grain. The base section of the cupboard is formed with it being bow fronted and set with two full length doors. Each door is Inlaid with satinwood stringing around the edge and a corner motif of flowers, leaves and ribbons. There is also a larger inlaid section to the centre of the door which is similar of flowers, leaves and ribbons. Opening the two doors on the base it is set with fixed shelves. The top section is formed with it also being bow fronted. The two doors are all Astrical glazed with shaped pieces of wood. To the top it has a shaped top. The inside of the cabinet is set with three fixed shelves. The top section has stringing around the doors, and edge of the cabinet. The cabinet comes with its original key. It splits into two sections for ease of moving. The cabinet dates to around . Size Height 80.5” Width 28.5” Depth 20.5” Condition The condition of the cabinet is excellent, one of the small glazed sections has a crack in it, light scuffs, marks and scratches and a small piece missing on the top moulding, overall commensurate to age.
