A beautiful, rare brass bed (iron base frame); an original king-size (i.e. It hadn't been extended or added to to make it bigger). It's gorgeous. I haven't polished it as I like old things to look their age, but if you wanted to spruce it up a bit it would look fantastic. Victorian Style Fireplace. Lovely Condition with Brass Surround

I believe this to be a genuine Victorian style fireplace. When we bought this property this was the fireplace installed. We are now doing up this room and feel that this fireplace is the wrong type for the large room. Hence this sale. Brass surround included in the sale as it complements the tiled hearth beautifully. The hearth will be of no use as it is black tiles on cement, so impossible to take out in one piece. The tiles on the fireplace have small hairline cracks which are typical for this type of fireplace. This suggests that it is very old. The fireplace has been refurbished and is in mint condition. The different colouring on the tiles is due to the light coming in from the right hand window. Hence, the brightness on the left hand tiles. There is no grate but this item can be easily enough found at various suppliers. We have never had a fire on in this fireplace. Mantelpiece: = 47.5ins x 7ins. We have ordered a new 5ft similar bed and so this needs a new home. It was bought from Victorian dreams Headley at a price of £850. Beautiful bed with brass and black detail. It comes with box which unscrews into two. The bed comes into pieces with a bottom head/ foot boards, two sides with slots in beams. Quick assembly no screws. It is 4ft 6 and has no mattress as most people prefer their own. Grab a real bargain I need it gone ASAP due to pending deliver. £100 cash on collection preferred. You will need a small van to collect from Waterlooville. There is a little bit of black touch up needed on feet but this can easily be done with a cheap spray can, it doesn't effect it.
