Double scroll handle, open work shell thumb-piece and hinged domed lid. Fitted with blue glass liner. 4 inches long, made in London by Peter & Ann Bateman. This is a super Georgian Solid Silver Spoon (possibly for Salt / Mustard) with a date mark of , the design of the letter “A” looking likely to be that of Chester and a duty mark of King George III. The spoon is in fabulous condition considering it’s age. The spoon is approximately 10cm long.
