Original Victorian Wooden Door, approx years old. Comes with original glass and all original door furniture and big chunky key. Lock works perfectly. This is a lovely solid heavy wooden door, but sadly after extension, we now have nowhere to put it. Would love it to be put back into an old home. 1 internal Victorian 4 flat panel door with moulded edging to panels. (Only replacing as I now need fire doors). Complete with doorknob (although I regret where lock is shown I don't have the key). The door has been painted at some point and is now stripped, there are some residues of white paint in cracks but really not noticeable. These are old doors and so they are worn (but not worn out!) Cast Iron Victorian Book Press

I've used this in my leather workshop for the last year--actually for pressing books! And squashing anything that needed squashing. Mechanism is lively and smooth and light, finish is pretty good with no rust. Plates are unfinished so do get a bit of oxidisation occasionally but a rub with a bit of wet and dry sorts that:D The jaws are just wider than A4 size:D Lovely bit of useful kit that weighs a ton, so would prefer collection from LL15 near Ruthin.
