Two coats of rejuvenating oil to allow the dry wood to except the next stages much easier. 4. Coat of deep mahogany wax for depth of colour and protect the surface. 5. My large Victorian dining table is original with the top made from solid mahogany. It has an excellent patina and is in very good overall condition. The table is 70 inches by 50 inches when open and 28.5 inches high with turned legs. It reduces to 24 inches by 50 inches when the leaves are folded.
