I have a Victorian style marble mantlepiece with a beautiful cast iron fireplace. Bad news - the marble fireplace is broken in parts but can be mended. I think all the pieces are there but I keep finding new bits of it every day. Bad news - the Victorian fireplace has got some superficial rust on it so needs a good scrub and a tin of black plate and will be as good as before. The marble surround features a traditional design from the period, with attractive decorative corbels supporting a bevelled mantelpiece shelf. THIS IS A RESTORATION PROJECT I have a Schots Victorian style marble mantlepiece with a beautiful cast iron fireplace. There is also a large grey slate floor flag for the fireplace to stand on. This versatile cast iron fireplace insert, in premium black, is replica of an authentic period piece and features finely detailed casting, can be used for selected gas fires or traditional wood burning. Victorian Cast Iron Fire Surround / Marble Hearth

Restored Victorian (genuine antique) cast iron fire surround in very good condition (one small piece chipped off the bottom of the arch). Has been sand blasted and used in my previous house and just needs wire brushing and treating with cast iron polish to blacken and to restore to its original charm. A very nice feature if used around a traditional open fire, especially in a house of the same character and ideal to add real character back to a terraced house or similar. Also a very nice white Carrara marble hearth in good condition. White with a pink, beige and grey fleck. Prefer to sell them as a pair which look great in contrast between the black cast iron and white marble. Make me an offer.
