Victorian Ladies Writing Desk-VGC

Small Victorian ladies kneehole writing desk with 5 drawers. It is in very good used condition and with only a few small scratches on top commensurate with its age and usage. The previous owner painted the drawer fronts in black chalk paint. This does not detract but rather adds to its charm. I love this desk but just had no room for it in my new home. It could also be used as a console/hall table or dressing table with the addition of a free standing mirror. I believe the wood to be mahogany. Read more

This pretty desk is finished with a shaped oak gallery top and stands on impressive pierced shaped support legs finished with tiny Brass casters.
