Matching pair of Victorian or Edaardian Club style armchairs. I know the provenance of these lovely chairs back to as they have been in the family since then, although we believe them to be from slightly earlier than that. They are in the club chair style made famous by Howard and Sons. Rare to find as a matched pair. In good structural condition with a few marks and wear here and there, mostly to the fabric covering. Oak frames and legs. Original brass castors. Modern blue fabric fitted in that replaced a non-original moquette from the s. Duresta Lansdowne luxury hand made howard style sofa for sale or swap for smaller sized one, This is a simply stunning Duresta luxury hand made Lansdowne three seater sofa measuring 209cm L x 107cm D x 90cm H including the back cushions. The fabric is called Richmond stripe/ porcelain, (please see the Duresta website for more details) It is a vanilla subtly striped fabric, the stripe being what I would call buttermilk, it has matching arm covers/protectors that can be removed, these have always been in place so the actual sofa arms are immaculate, the arm covers and seating cushions could do with a light clean as there are some minor surface marks in line with use. There is some damage to underside fabric of the sofa, please see last photo, this of course is unseen when the sofa is in situ. We are a smoke free home. The label batch number is intact. We are very reluctantly & sadly having to part with it as it is simply too large for our small room:(PLEASE NOTE: This is a very heavy sofa and will need two strong people to move it.
