There are no markings on her or any Indication of who the sculpture was. I have searched the galleries' and the web But can find nothing like her and my pictures Don't do her justice. A lovely heavy bronze statue which I've had for many years but I'm afraid I've no idea who she is (if anyone knows please let me know!). I keep her on the floor as she's quite large and heavy (27 inches high) but I've got a couple of not very clever Newfoundland dogs and it's just at eye height for them and I'm also afraid my young grandchildren may run into her too so I'm afraid she has to go. Since having the paint stripped the piece has not seen the outdoors and will probably clean itself once its seen some english weather and the bronze gains some patina! As Bronze Stags go it's a handsome one, not cheap looking and not too muscular as some tend to be.
