hh As genuine as they come, but full of personality. This friendly confident mare just loves human interaction. So easy to do. Everything i've thrown at her she's just taken all in her stride. She was broken in the early spring. She hacks out alone or in company, happily goes first or last or right in the middle. Doesn't get fizzy even in open grounds or whilst others are galloping off ahead. Soft mouthed and responsive to aids. Has nice active paces. Currently walking, trotting and cantering under saddle however green in her schooling, it's mainly just hacking work she's done. Has popped a log out hacking with no hesitation, showing great balance and carefulness, didn't even get silly. Passes heavy traffic out hacking (videos can be seen). Easy to handle, mount, bath, farrier, load/travel, worm etc. Used to other animals, regularly goes hacking with my GSD dog running alongside (even on the beach). Goes into river or sea when asked. Loose jumped 3ft. Has lived out or in. Can be left for weeks and you can just jump back onto her with no difference. Ridden bareback through the fields of other horses. Tacked up loose in field, as will come away from other horses (doesn't stress, not mare ish at all). This mare is so sweet and genuine she really hasn't put a foot out of place. Not suitable for complete novices/nervous riders only because of her age, being so young i would love to see her fulfil her potential and wouldn't like her to pick up bad habits etc. Only for sale as too small for myself. Very pretty palomino Welsh Section A mare Henrhyd Melanie (Mia), 11.2hh 8 year old lead rein pony who has potential to be first/show pony with a little schooling. We have owned Mia for the last two and a half years and she has been a brilliant lead rein pony for my daughter, who is now 6, but she has completely lost interest in riding Mia, hence for sale. Mia is a very sweet, friendly girl who loves to be groomed and enjoys being ridden. All last summer I rode out and led Mia to help keep her fit in between rides with my daughter. I also lead her out in hand and currently still do in between a handful of rides with my daughter either out hacking or in the paddock. Mia has been well behaved when my daughter has ridden her off the lead rein at walk doing cones etc. She has just had this years vaccination, is microchipped, has a Welsh Pony and Cob Society passport and is good with farrier. Mia will be sold with a Thorowgood Cub saddle and the rest of her tack, rugs (2 of which were new this winter) and all her other bits and bobs. Please no loans.

Henrhyd Melanie (Mia) is 9 years old, 10 in April. We have owned her for 4 years and have used her as a lead rein. Very sweet little pony who is no trouble, hopefully the photos help show this. She will ride in company and out alone. I walk her in hand between odd rides. Although she is not in regular work at the moment, she is no trouble to just pop a rider on and head out. My daughter is no longer interested enough and so Mia is just wasted. She needs a new job to do. Mia was vaccinated on 31st January so is up to date. Worm count a few months ago was clear, wormed for tapeworm. She was last trimmed by the farrier on 24th February. She has a club saddle, bridle and all her other gear to go with her.

14.2 Welsh Section D Mare. 6 years old, born FEB . Liver chestnut in colour with a white blaze and three whites. Grandsire is Menai Firework. Dam, Hillgrath super Trooper and her sire is Hillgarth Duke. She has amazing bloodlines all the way back. She's not your usual stocky Welsh and has quite fine legs. She is registered and passported with the Welsh Cob society and is microchipped.She is good to brush, have feet done and will stand for the vet and to be clipped. She is currently fully shod on all fours, as she can get foot sore without. She needs to be sedated to have her teeth done as this is something she gets nervous over. She is up to date with all worming, back and teeth but needs her vaccines restarting. She travels in a trailer WITHOUT the partition and another horse, but won't travel otherwise due to an accident. I've never tried her on a wagon since this, therefore I wouldn't know. She has jumped both coloured and natural fences, up to 80cm, Rosie enjoys all spheres. She was professionally backed as a four year old by a 4* eventer. As a 4 year old she achieved 66% and 69% in both her dressage tests and won the junior section over all. She is currently out of work and has been since October , as unfortunately I can't ride anymore due to injuries to my back. Therefore this Mare will be sold from the field unless buyer would like to try. She is wasted with me and I have owned her since she was 10 months old, so homes will be vetted. This Mare can be spooky at times (pheasants and wind) when being brought back into work but goes when she is ridden daily. She loves a good hack out and is bombproof on the roads and in traffic, this doesn't phase her. No Children or anyone incapable of handling her- she often prances down to the field on a morning! Lives in on a night, otherwise she'd balloon (Loves food). Rosie won inhand champion and overall supreme of the show as a 3 year old- therefore a great showing prospect. She hacks out alone and in company, fab in traffic as she lives on a farm so big machines not an issue. Jumping a small course of jumps, barrels, blocks, logs never stops and enjoys it, plenty of scope to go bigger, working in a nice outline and really aims to please. Can ride her in big open spaces at the speed you want, she never attempts to buck or rear, you can just ask her to go up the gears or down and she politely obliges and doesn't hot up. (I have taken on the gallops with nutty pointers and she really was a saint!!) excellent to load, shoe and amazing to clip, just stood there enjoying it. She can be nervous in the stable, really needs more fuss and attention on a one to one basis to build a relationship, however we have done everything with her without any major issues. Not a novice ride due to age and she's green, but a real sweet pony, a great project for a teenager/small adult. Welsh section D 10yr old mare for sale or possible lease to the right home.15.2 I have owned this mare since a 3yr old and broke her myself so this is a very hard decision but she is currently wasted at present and I feel she is too good to sit in a field any longer. She was lightly but very successfully shown as a 4/5 year old after which I became pregnant and she then bred me two beautiful dun colts. One of which we retained.
