GEORGE III, Antique Oak Carved Ships CORNER CUPBOARD

A lovely example of a late 18th century, circa , oak and mahogany corner cupboard. It features a beautifully carved panel door with 3 internal fitted shelves. It is believed to have come from a ship, and the seashell depicts a 'fasciolaria' (tulip shell) which are common in the West Indies; this would suggest that the ship it came from were either naval or working the trade routes between England the Caribbean. As such given the uniqueness of it, it is unlikely that there is another of these in existence. Pls note the following, the front panel has a split down the centre and some damage to the seashell, also the top right of the panel has beadwork missing which is not particularly noticeable but if you look closely at the 3rd and 5th photo you should be able to see it. All of this could be easily restored if you wish to get it back to it's former glory and increase it's value. The lock is an old one, and is missing the key, but is not the original one, I suspect it is a late Victorian replacement, as such the door 'pushes' too, as opposed to flush fit and lock. Measures: 40.5" high x 26.5" wide across the front and 14.5" into the corner (measurement taken from front centre of top of cabinet into the back corner). House full of furniture for sale! Read More

Old, maybe antique, mainland Chinese cupboard designed to fit on stand. The stand has been used as a separate table. In family for many years and brought back from China. Cupboard has shelves and two small drawers. Carved doors and side panels, brass locking plate with brass rod (to which a padlock can be attached). The base (table) also has two drawers. Very old dining table, Extendable, solid oak, carved leg, cm

Please make sure the table size is suitable for you before you buy. The table size: height 75cm, width 76cm, length 121cm and it can be extended to 181cm. For my best knowledge, the wood is solid oak. The table top is nearly perfect condition, only the extension part has a small chip (picture 5) but it complete doesn't affect anything. In generally, the table top (picture 4) can be say is in acceptable condition. The value of tht tbale is the carved leg (picture 8) and the carved edge (picture 6, 7). You can image how many hours to finish these legs and edges. The table is very expensive as it is hand carved table. Please do some research for carved tables before you buy. If you don't understand the value of the table, please don't buy, for example, if you only concentrate the table top surface is wear or not, marks or no marks, please don't buy. The value of the table is the carved leg (picture 8) and the carved edge (picture 6, 7) which are beautiful hand carved pieces. Happy to buy this table. Collection only. If you need I delivery, I request £55 delivery fee as I need hire a van. The delivery area is only London area (zone 1 to zone 6). The table top can be separated with the table leg for transport.
