Has separate mechanisms to adjust for personal specifications. The Board has been replaced for new. Extremely sturdy, and heavy frame. Item has been painted a pale pink by previous owners, so could do with coat of paint to suit own needs.In great condition, and all fully functional. Original Singer Sewing Machine and Table. Absolutely stunning original Singer sewing machine with an industrial cast iron base and oak table top. Serial Nbr Year . Signs of wear (as expected from its age), but overall in a good to reasonable condition. There is some damage to a wooden piece that connects the foot pedal to the pulley (see photo) but this can be fixed/replaced to be made stronger. However, the foot pedal still works (via a system of pulleys and a leather belt) and actually moves the needle mechanism on the sewing machine. I bought this at auction over 40 years ago and it's served as a garden planter ever since. Originally designed and used for wash day, this has the typical domed bottom and needs the support of bricks or something similar to stand straight. Several holes have been drilled in the bottom for drainage but otherwise it's in pretty good used condition for its age, although of course is no longer water-tight.
