Very large teapot in sterling silver Louis XVI style of the Napoleon III period by Odiot.The pot has the Minerva hallmark (. 950) and silversmith hallmark of Odiot and the mention of Odiot in full letters.Founded in , the silversmith Odiot sees his talent rewarded with imperial orders of Napoleon I, and then in all the courts of Europe (supplier to the Court of his Majesty the Imperial Tsar) and in the high aristocracy. Odiot’s artworks are present in all the major museums in the world and are still produced today.
