Solid Pine Painted Bookcase with cupboard, Stunning Solid Pine Bookcase With CupboardPainted In Laura Ashley Country White Furniture PaintI now have for sale this beautiful bookcase, this is a handmade solid piece that has been lovingly brought up to date with Laura Ashley Country White eggshell, this is a hard wearing paint especially suited to furniture. The colour is a very pale cream which will fit in with almost any colour scheme.This is a very decorative piece with a deep cornice and three shelves which have been waxed and left in the natural pine.The piece was first cleaned using a sugar soap solution to remove all grease and dirt. Two coats of primer/undercoat were then applied, allowed to dry before applying three coats of Laura Ashley Country White. This was left to harden before applying clear furniture wax for added protection. All paintwork was sanded between coats.
