I made 4 alterations; The dress has been bustled so you can easily put train up for dancing, It has been taken up slightly to fit my 5'4 inch height with 3' heels, I altered neckline to make it a very flattering sweetheart shape which is very pretty and I had a beautiful intricate vintage belt hand stitched on which can easily be removed if not to your taste. I'd literally wear it all day if i could it's that beautiful but it's been in my wardrobe since our wedding in May . There are so many beautiful aspects to the Gemma gown. Perhaps the most otherworldly element is the ethereal combination of French tulle and organza, something you wouldn’t expect in a gown with such a defined mermaid silhouette. Still, this is a very soft mermaid: I didn’t want anything to be too rigid. We used bands of tulle, wrapping around the body like a swirling cyclone, and ending in bias-cut flanges, which are deconstructed, abstract blossoms in tissue organza: it’s the perfect storm. Once the dress is in motion, you get the thrill of that subtle play between lights and darks. Between the blossoms, there’s certainly a pageantry in the base of this gown. It’s an absolute celebration of volume that is meant to be very dramatic, with the fantasy of a ball gown and the sensuousness of a mermaid gown combined. If you desire even more drama, a bride might choose to add a sequined belt for just a little flicker of beading, to really highlight the waist. Gorgeous White by Vera Wang wedding dress

This is a stunning White by Vera Wang wedding dress in UK size 12. It was only worn once and was dry cleaned the next morning - looks brand new. The detail is absolutely gorgeous, the dress has a beautiful long train which will look stunning at the ceremony. No alterations have been done to the dress so you could have it taken in/shortened. I am 5"9 and wore 3" heels and it fit perfectly. The only thing that was done alterations wise was a bustle (which is extremely handy after the ceremony allowing you to move freely and the work was done beautifully so having the train bustled leaves you looking as stunning as during the ceremony) and cost £300 - a great saving not having to worry about.
