Beautiful Venture Ottowa for sale, currently fitted with kneeling thwart but will supply original seat if people prefer (the kneeling thwart allows larger feet to fit in the boat when kneeling and lowers the paddler's weight making the canoe a lot more stable). No deep scratches, usual wear and tear from gentle club use- hasn't really been used on whitewater. Makes a lovely stable, manoeuvrable, easy to paddle solo boat. It paddles beautifully in a straight line, if I didn't already have a growing collection of boats and nowhere to store them, I would be buying it myself!!! Canadian canoe - 15` Venture Ontario 2 person plus open canoe

This is a used 15` long open canoe, which I believe to be a Venture Ontario. It has two ash and webbing seats one of which is almost new, and an ash central yoke. The interior is clean and damage free although the outer skin is scuffed and scratched from use. The bow and stern have shaped Kevlar strips glued on which although not pretty serve to protect the ends of the boat when beaching or grounding. Easily manhandled ashore by two people, and is just about manageable over short distances by one person (weight is about 26kg apparently - check out details and comments on Songofthepaddle website).
